During this session, The Ohio State University (OSU) and their coding apprenticeship program development partner, TrustHCS, will present the approaches taken to develop the program, lessons learned from the experience, and the results the Ohio State University realized from the efforts.

Learner Outcomes

  • Review the OSU program roll-out with updates on employed coders to-date
  • Review key components of a coder apprenticeship program
  • Outline pitfalls to avoid in coder development programs
