AHIMA22 Global Conference attendees are invited to join us for an introductory discussion about the conference. This orientation opportunity is offered for anyone new to the health information community, new to AHIMA conferences, or looking to become better acquainted with their fellow AHIMA conference attendees. Organizations leading today’s industry have sponsored thought leadership sessions focusing on trending areas affecting the health information community and profession. AHIMA practice directors review the sponsored thought leadership topics. These sessions are eligible for CEUs.
By attending the in-person conference taking place October 9–12, you may earn up to 21 CEUs if you attend breakout sessions, Plenary Sessions, and workshops. (IMPORTANT: Please note that the CEUs will be confirmed once the conference schedule of events is completed.)
CEUs will be awarded for participation in all AHIMA22 Global Conference qualifying educational sessions. This includes all general sessions and educational breakout sessions. All attendees are also eligible to receive two CEUs over the course of the conference for visiting the Exhibit Hall and engaging with tech demo sessions, interacting with sponsoring companies, and participating in health information–related events. Please check the conference schedule of events to confirm how many credits will be awarded for each session.
Capturing your participation in CEU-eligible sessions is easy. Simply scan your badge upon entering a session. Volunteers will be present at each session to assist you with scanning your badge. Scanned session data will be uploaded to the AHIMA certification center upon the conclusion of the conference.
IMPORTANT: Please note that if you choose not to have your badge scanned, you will not receive a CEU for that session. You may not scan your badge for a session once it has concluded. Session CEU domains are noted on the schedule.
By attending the virtual conference taking place November 10–11 and/or the on-demand period, you may earn up to 21 CEUs.CEUs for AHIMA22 Virtual
Virtual conference sessions will be available for live viewing during the dates of the conference, November 10 – 11, 2022. On-demand viewing opportunities will not be extended beyond this date. To receive CEUs for the virtual conference sessions (watched live during conference dates or during the on-demand viewing period), watch the entire session and answer the accompanying session survey. By completing the session survey, your participation in the session will be recorded and a CEU will be applied to your CEU record in the AHIMA Certification Center.
