Cost per night is in US dollars. Rates do not reflect sales tax (17.50% currently) or occupancy tax (varies by hotel). A housing reservation fee, paid to Maritz Global Events, and services fee are included in the guest room rates. Rates listed above signify 1 or 2 people per room. Rates are subject to increase if 3+ people are in the room.The card used to guarantee your reservation may be charged a deposit of one nights room plus tax when the hotel receives the initial rooming list on or after September 29, 2022.

Cancellations must be received 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid a one nights room plus tax penalty. Cancellations can be made through Maritz via email or online through September 29, 2022. After September 30, 2022, please contact the property directly to make any changes or to cancel your reservation.

On September 30th, any request for reservations will be made directly with the hotels, and will be based on their best available rate at the time of booking.

All hotel reservations for AHIMA22 Global Conference should be made during the registration process through Maritz, AHIMA’s official housing and registration provider. Registrants will receive an email confirmation once your hotel reservation has been confirmed. A credit card will be required to hold your guest room reservation during the Maritz booking process. This will be noted as CCG (credit card guarantee) during the check-out process.

Important Notice: Maritz Global Events is the only housing agent for AHIMA22 Global Conference. AHIMA and Maritz have worked with the hotels in Columbus, OH to provide discounted room rates for attendees and exhibitors. 

While other hotel resellers may contact you offering housing services, they are not endorsed by AHIMA or affiliated with AHIMA. Improper solicitation of hotel reservations from any company or housing provider other than Maritz Global Events is not approved by AHIMA. Entering into financial arrangements with unauthorized housing sources may have costly consequences, including the risk of losing reservations or incurring hidden costs.

Getting to Columbus, OH

Columbus is located within 550 miles of nearly half the nation’s population—that’s just a one-hour flight or a one-day drive—perfect for attendees who are looking to save on travel expenses for their next meeting. In addition, the John Glenn Columbus International Airport is a quick 10-minute drive from downtown.  

With the central location and ease of access, you’ll be in Columbus in no time!

Getting Around in Columbus


Express bus service runs between John Glenn International Airport, the Greater Columbus Convention Center and downtown hotels. The connector stops at baggage claim every 30 minutes and only costs $2.75 each way.


The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) operates bus service in Columbus. The CBUS is a free downtown circulator that runes every 10-15 minutes from the Short North Arts District in the north, to the Brewery District/German Village in the south, with spots at many popular downtown locations along the way.
